Organisation - What is INCLUDEME?
INCLUDEME MEANS:
INTERCULTURAL LEARNING IN MENTORING AND STUDENT TEACHER TRAINING IN EUROPE
INCLUDEME was a three year SOCRATES COMENIUS 2.1 project which started in October 2003.
The INCLUDEME project is working till now and furthermore (last trainee exchange January/February 2007). New members are the Charles University in Prague / CZ and the CVU Sønderjylland (Centre for Higher Education South Jutland) / DK.
This project aims at developing the mobility of trainee teachers within Europe, at first within the six (now eight) involved countries. During three-week placements, trainee teachers, in cooperation with mentors, acquire a basis for maximising quality in schools and education and an opportunity to make use of teacher training in a different European country other from their own.
The 1-to-1 exchange enables participants to compare teaching methodology in theory and in practice in different subjects within Europe, helping them to reflect on their own teaching competence inter-culturally. They also can enhance foreign language skills at teaching level.
